I asked myself countless times. All of these have led me to establish The Empowered Mindset coaching business. I also enjoy speaking to various audiences, and connecting with souls across the world. About the author

Dr. Ke Ying Tan was trained in MBChB at the University of Dundee, and is a medical doctor currently training in family medicine. She also trained with some of the most powerful personal development trainers, human behaviour and leadership mentors, and motivational speakers in the industry. What started initially as “just an idea” to help people learn from her experiences, she later discovered she could no longer ignore. As a physician, she felt a growing frustration as she discovered how limited her impact as a doctor is. She felt like a bandaid most of the time, or a firefighter putting out fires which would only be reignited soon after. Interestingly, this frustration is shared within the community, but not enough people are talking about it nor doing much about it. She realised that the true key for holistic wellbeing is to address the roots, which are the mind and the spirit. Previously more identified as a medic, Dr Tan is now investing more time and energy to help more people in her mindset coaching business, drawing on both her professional and real world extensive experiences in overcoming shame, and imposter syndrome; breaking through self-sabotage cycles; and developing an empowered mindset while coming home to the soul.
